Your calculator inputs stay in your browser
Every number you type into a calculator on oursalary.in, whether CTC, basic pay, savings or anything else, is processed on your own device with JavaScript. It is not sent to our server, stored in a database or shared with anyone.
Information collected automatically
Like any website, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time) for security and performance. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to see, in aggregate, which pages are used most. These never include the values you enter in a calculator.
Fonts and third-party services
Pages load the Plus Jakarta Sans font from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests it from Google's servers. Google's own privacy policy applies to that request.
Cookies and advertising
The calculator pages do not set their own tracking cookies. If ads are shown in future, they will be served by third-party networks, such as Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show relevant ads under their own policies. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings.
The Employee section
The /employee/ section runs on WordPress and may set cookies needed for comments or basic site functions. If you leave a comment there, the name, email and text you submit are stored to display and moderate it.
If you email us, we use your address only to reply, and we do not add you to any mailing list.
Children
The site is meant for working adults and is not directed at children.
